Traveling through Guatemala was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my time in Central America. I spent six weeks exploring the country, and it still didn’t feel like enough – that’s how captivating it is.
Guatemala is alive with color, culture, and dramatic landscapes everywhere you turn. It’s incredibly under rated. Ancient Mayan traditions blend seamlessly with volcanic terrain, sparkling lakes, and adorable colonial towns. It’s a country that pulls you in with its energy.
And one of the best parts? Guatemala is incredibly budget friendly, especially for long-tern travelers. During my six weeks, I ate delicious meals for just a few dollars, hiked volcanos, and explored colorful markets. If you’re craving adventure, culture, and a destination that feels both raw and deeply beautiful. Guatemala is absolutely worth adding to your travel list.
