Traveling through Oregon is an adventure that never really ends – and living in Central Oregon (Bend) has given me the perfect base to slowly explore every corner of the Pacific Northwest. From the dramatic coastline to the high desert, snow-capped volcanoes, misty forests, and countless waterfalls, Oregon is one of those places where the landscapes are constantly shifting.
One day you’re summiting a peak in the Cascade mountain range, and the next you’re standing beneath towering sea stacks on the coast or chasing waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge. It’s incredibly diverse, wildly beautiful, and full of experiences for every kind of traveler.
What I love most is how easy it is to explore something new each week. Bend is surrounded by trails, lakes, and viewpoints that feel like they belong in a national park, and the rest of the state is just as stacked – from Crater Lake’s iconic caldera to the moody forests of the Cascades and the charming small towns tucked into mountain valleys.
Whether you’re into hiking, mountain biking, photography, road trips, or simply enjoying the outdoors, Oregon delivers in a big way. Check out the blog posts below to help plan your trip and find the best places to visit in Oregon. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
