Traveling through Thailand never gets old – after visiting half a dozen times and exploring new regions with each trip, it’s by far one of my favorite countries in Southwest Asia. Thailand is incredibly diverse: you’ve got cities like Bangkok buzzing with energy, lush jungles and waterfalls in the north, dreamy islands in the south, and countless cultural sites, night markets, and local food experiences in between. 

Every region has its own flavor, and no matter how many times you return, there’s always something new to discover. What makes Thailand especially easy to fall in love with is how welcoming, accessible, and adventure-packed it is. I mean this country has it all.

Transportation is simple, the food is ridiculously good, and you can shift from mountain temples to turquoise beaches in a single day. Whether you’re trekking around Chiang Mai, chasing waterfalls in Kanchanaburi, island hopping in Krabi, or soaking up the slower pace in places like Pai or Koh Lanta, the country delivers unforgettable experiences at every turn.
