The Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is the a beautiful hotel that is a tad cheaper than most the Hawaii honeymoon resorts listed previous. Located on 22-acres on the widest stretch of Waikiki Beach, you can’t beat the location.
Tropical gardens, ponds and waterfalls detail the resort. Enjoy five swimming pools including a large beach front pool. If you are on vacation to relax and unwind you won’t need to leave the resort. Stay healthy by taking an outdoor yoga class, my definition of fitness travel.
Have a spa day and or try one of the many water activities on site including surf lessons, snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding or kayaking. This is a great place to stay if you don’t have a large budget.

Spend your time splashing around in the turquoise waters on a white-sand beach, play a round of golf, or spend the day getting a couples massage at the luxurious spa. There’s an array of intimate experiences tailored for two making this a top Hawaii honeymoon hotel and destination.

Maui
Maui in my opinion is the best island. Okay I may be biased as I have called Maui home for the past decade but Maui has a little bit of each island all combined into one.
It has the nightlife of Oahu, the seclusion of Kauai and a volcano to explore like the Big Island. The biggest lure to Maui has to be its beaches, with over 120 miles of coastline finding a beach to your liking will not be a problem.
MAUI HIGHLIGHTS:
- Driving the road to Hana
- Hiking the Pipiwai Trail

Four Seasons Maui
If you are looking for a romantic setting on your honeymoon in Hawaii then book an oceanfront suite at the Four Seasons Wailea. The resort fronts Wailea beach on Maui, one of the largest golden sand beaches on the island.
On days your not exploring the Maui, spend your days lounging at the adults-only infinity pool in one of the luxury or elevated ocean-view cabanas. This idyllic oceanfront Maui resort is perfect for couples wanting to get away from it all and celebrate life’s special moments. Move from the pool to the spa and get pampered in luxury.
This Maui honeymoon resort is heaven on Earth and the dining options are no exception. Reserve your spot today at one of the many restaurants located inside the Four Seasons Resort – DUO Steak and Seafood, Ferraro’s (Wailea’s only oceanfront restaurant) or Spago a Master Chef Wolfgang Puck’s Hawaiian outpost.
South Maui Travel Guides:
Wailea Beach Resort
Perfectly placed within steps of the ocean, the Wailea Beach Resort offers scenic luxury in a stunning travel destination. Experience stylish comfort along the water’s edge as you bask in the sun and spend quality time with your loved one.
Enjoy a romantic candlelight oceanfront meal with a menu featuring locally sourced ingredients. Or if you’re in a hurry to explore Maui, enjoy eats at the casual food truck on property.
A stay at the Wailea Beach Resort without experiencing the Te Au Moana Luau one of the best things to do in Wailea. Te Au Moana, meaning “The Ocean Tide” Luau, transports guests on a cultural journey of the islands’ history and its people through song, dance and storytelling.
Ritz-Carlton Kapalua
The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua is a pristine hotel nestled on the ocean edge. Nearby are beautiful golden sand beaches, world class golf and hiking trails.
This is one of the best places to stay in Maui for your honeymoon. Here you will discover timeless luxury with all the modern amenities including a sophisticated spa and elegant pool area.
Walkable from the resort is Dragon’s Teeth – a formation that resembles teeth of a dragon. The Kapalua Coastal Trail is also within walking distance.
Kapalua is a great starting point to explore West Maui. Staying here means you’ll be within a 30 minute drive of top West Maui attractions like Honolua Bay, the Olivine Pools, the Nakalele blowhole and the Ohai Trail.
Hana-Maui Resort
In my opinion, the Hana-Maui Resort is one of the best honeymoon resorts in Hawaii. Located in remote Hana town, nestled along the famed road to Hana is this luxurious stay.
This secluded luxury oasis offers honeymooners a beautiful place to escape on Hawaii’s eastern coast close to world renowned beaches, tropical forests, waterfalls, and the Kipahulu district of Haleakala National Park.
Spend a morning getting pampered at the spa which offers local botanicals and Hawaiian healing techniques, such as lomi lomi massage one of the best splurges to have in Hawaii. The spa facilities include nine treatment rooms, eucalyptus steam room, cold plunge pool, outdoor showers, and a jetted tub overlooking Kapueokahi Bay.
Being that Hana is remote, most visitors only experience Hana on a day trip which means you’ll be able to experience many of the things to do in Hana with very few people in the mornings. As one of the most romantic hotels in Maui, this will make your Maui honeymoon unforgettable.

Kauai
Kauai is the fourth largest and oldest Hawaiian Island. Filled with secluded beaches, roaring waterfalls and the most dramatic landscapes, Kauai is the ultimate honeymoon destination.
Life on Kauai truly moves at a slower pace, visitors travel here for seclusion, adventure and romance all wrapped up into one. Kauai’s biggest attractions are the Napali Coastline and consistent surf.
HIGHLIGHTS OF KAUAI:
- Hiking the Napali Coast (permits required)
- Year round surf

Formally known as the St. Regis Princeville, Hotel Hanalei Bay provides everything needed for an unforgettable honeymoon stay. Located along Kauai’s stunning Napali Coast, this luxury resort offers beach front access, a full-service spa, gourmet dining and easy access to attractions and activities.
The grounds are lovely and scream serenity. Tranquil, authentic and welcoming, a true Hawaiian experience. Kauai in my opinion is the best Hawaiian Island to spend your honeymoon, its less touristy compared to busy Waikiki on Oahu and surrounded by ample nature and secluded beauty.

Big Island
The Big Island is just that, BIG and the biggest draw to the Big Island is for volcanos and a chance to see active lava flowing. The Big Island has 2 of the world’s most active volcanos Kilauea and Maunaloa, Kilauea being the most active as you may have seen in the news it had a large eruption event in the spring of 2018.
BIG ISLAND HIGHLIGHTS:

This one-of-a-kind package combines stays at all four Four Seasons Hawaii Resorts with some of there most exclusive experiences like a helicopter ride above volcanos or dining under the stars.

Lanai
Lanai is the least populated Hawaiian Island. Most people only visit Lanai on a day trip from West Maui as there is a ferry that runs 3 times a week from Lahaina town to Lanai.
There are not many Airbnbs or hotels on Lanai as most who stay on Lanai opt for a luxurious, secluded stay at the Four Seasons Lanai or a camping experience on Lanai. There are still plenty of things to do in Lanai that it’s worth a visit.
HIGHLIGHTS OF LANAI:
- Manele Bay
- Pu’u Pehe aka Sweetheart Rock
- the Cat Sanctuary
- Lanai City
- Dive at a shipwreck
- Munro Trail
Hawaii Honeymoon Resorts | Lanai
Four Seasons Resort Lanai
The Four Seasons Resort Lanai is a dream. It features stunning ocean views and is one of the most remote and romantic honeymoon spots in Hawaii. The elegant property features two outdoor swimming pools, an onsite spa that offers a variety of massages, facials and salon services, plus it has its own golf course and three tennis courts.
If you are a foodie, you can dine at Nobu Lanai, which is a restaurant by Nobu Matsuhisa chef which showcases Japanese cuisine. The restaurant offers a variety of sushi selections made with locally grown ingredients.
Manele Bay where the Four Seasons is located is one of the best things to do on Lanai. The beach is perfect for swimming, snorkeling and its not uncommon to see dolphins frolicking around in the bay.
