The two highlights of staying here are the continental breakfast that is provided every morning and of course the thermal springs on site.  Let’s first talk about breakfast.

The breakfast was delicious, which made waking up early that much more exciting.  Every item was made to order and there are fresh pressed juices every morning – I still day dream about these and wish I could start every morning with a glass.  

Okay now let’s talk about the spa/springs.  The natural hot springs are huge and you could easily spend your whole time relaxing around the springs/pools.  

There’s several different areas and chairs scattered around and the place is pretty big so finding your own nook to relax and destress won’t be a problem.  There’s even a private adults ‘cabana’ which is where I spent most of my time.  

The whole area is full of natural hot spring baths, a sauna and 5 swimming pools.  Plus there massage services, luxury spa treatments available to you at an extra cost. 

This resort is definitely worth the splurge if you are planning a trip to La Fortuna.  Even if you don’t spring the extra few bucks to stay here, you can buy a day pass to experience the hot springs.  It’s worth it and I promise the photos will be instagram worthy.
