Bryce Canyon is located in Southern Utah about an hour Northeast of Zion National Park.  A 17 mile scenic road traces the length of Bryce Canyon making it possible to explore in 1 day as there are several National and state parks in the area.

Bryce Canyon looks like it appeared straight out of a fairytale.  Unique rock spires known as hoodoos cover the park in shades of red, pink, orange and cream.  A few of the parks highlights include Sunrise and Sunset Points, Queens Garden and Navajo Loop Trail and Inspiration Point.

Best Western PLUS Ruby’s Inn

You can’t beat the location of the Best Western PLUS Ruby’s Inn as its the closest lodging near Bryce Canyon National Park, only 1 mile away.  This hotel has it all.  There is a restaurant on site (one of the only ones in the area), indoor pool, hot tub, general store and a massive gift shop.  You could spend a whole afternoon wondering through the gift shop as its filled with lots of unique items perfect for Christmas gifts.

Rooms are what you’d expect, comfortable and modern.  Family rooms with kitchenettes are also available and its pet friendly!  The area is always crowded and a bit of a mad house.  Many tour buses stop here and stay for a night while they explore Bryce Canyon National Park.

There is a shuttle stop for Bryce Canyon that stops at Ruby’s Inn making it very convenient to explore the park for the day without having to drive.  There is also one of the only places near Bryce to buy camping gear if you forgot some items or need to restock.

There is also a campground here – perfect if you are looking for ways to travel on a budget.

This adorable bed & breakfast near Bryce Canyon is located in the town of Tropic.  The beds are super comfy and who doesn’t love a home made breakfast?!?!  The perfect way to start your day as you hike and explore Bryce Canyon.

Glamping Near Zion & Bryce Canyon

If you’re looking for where to stay near Zion and Bryce then you best do it by glamping in a yurt.  The stay is located up on the East side of Zion National Park which is closer to Bryce Canyon National Park.

On this side of the park there are more off the beaten path hikes that are not as popular as other hikes in Zion.

Located on the Zion Ponderosa Resort property these accommodations have access to many of the resort amenities including breakfast, swimming pools, hot tubs, billiards table and a ping pong table.

Bryce Country Cabins

Live out a true old Western fantasy and stay in these Bryce Country Cabins.  These rustic inspired cabins come with air-condition and a full kitchen or kitchenette depending on which cabin you choose.

Located less than 10 minutes walking distance to the town of Tropic, including several restaurants and a grocery store.  It is also less than 10 miles away to Bryce Canyon NP.  Stay here for serene and solitude.

Private Yurt

If you enjoy staying in unique places and don’t mind being a little off the grid then you should check out this private studio yurt.  The yurt is located 25 minutes to the West from Bryce and about an hour Northwest from Zion National Park just outside of the small town of Hatch, Utah.

The yurts are all equipped with a queen bed, private bathroom and a washer/dryer.  The room also includes a small refrigerator, microwave, hot plate, and coffee maker.  This Bryce Canyon accommodation is perfect for one or two people.

The closest restaurants, gas stations or grocery stores are located in the nearest towns of Hatch, Panguitch, and Bryce Canyon City which are between 5 and 25 minutes away from the remote cozy yurts.

This quiet and well kept motel is located in the town of Tropic, about 15 minutes away from the entrance to Bryce Canyon.  This is a great place to stay if you are traveling through Bryce on a budget.  There is also a great restaurant across the street.

Best Western PLUS Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel

The Best Western PLUS Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel is one of the newer hotels in the area.  Located across the street from Ruby’s, this accommodation is only 10 minutes to the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park.

All rooms are equipped with microwaves, refrigerators and A/C.  The rooms are spacious and comfortable.  This Bryce Canyon accommodation has some of the best amenities compared to other hotels in the area.  These include a fitness center, large pool, hot tub and an above average breakfast buffet.

Bryce Trails Bed and Breakfast

The Bryce Trails Bed and Breakfast is located in the nearby town of Tropic which is about a 20 minute drive to the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park.

The rooms are spacious, clean and comforting.  This quaint bed and breakfast has phenomenal views and of course breakfast!  You have a choice a Full English/Irish or American breakfast.

Staying in the town of Tropic gives you more access to restaurants, grocery stores and hikes that aren’t inside the National Park.

Radiance Retreat

If you are traveling with a large family, multiple families or with a group of friends then you won’t want to miss a stay at this elegant villa.  The villa is conveniently located in the town of Tropic, Utah about 10 minutes to Bryce Canyon National Park.

Campgrounds inside Bryce Canyon National Park

North Campground and Sunset Campground are the only 2 campgrounds located inside the National Park.  The North Campground is just past the visitors center and the best part is that they have showers!  The showers are at the general store which also has a laundry room, basic supplies and camping gear.

The Sunset Campground is two and a half miles past the visitors center across the road from Sunset Point,  Make reservations in advance as both of these campgrounds usually fill up by 12 or 1 pm.

Ruby’s Inn Campground

These campgrounds has spaces for tents and RV’s.  Ruby’s Inn Campground is open all year round and have showers and a laundry facility. This private campground is a bit crowded as there’s a restaurant connected to the Inn along with a general store, gas station and gift shop.  The park shuttle also stops here.

Bryce Canyon Pines Campground

Bryce Canyon Pines Campground can be found 4 miles west of the park entrance and has an indoor pool, grocery store and has shaded sites.
